For our next class (4.15.13)

For next class, make the edits/improvements to your magazine cover and save a second PDF to the same folder. In the end, there should be 2 PDFs - the first one we critiqued and the new and improved version.

Next class, we'll be discussing Flash and some technologies. I may not do the standard Flash class walk-thru due to no TA this semester. So we'll dive into next class in a simpler way that doesn't require having a spotter helping out.

InDesign Lecture/Magazine Covers

Great job on everyone's iphone applications - really! Nice piece for your portfolio for those of you who are going to put together one.

Here is the InDesign lecture deck.

Refer to your syllabus (I'll be editing the dates based on the missed class) for assignment due dates but in a nut shell, sketches of your magazine cover designs along with 3 good magazine cover designs (JPGs only) are due next week. We'll also be doing an in-class InDesign walk-thru next week. Final magazine cover due the week after.
